Abuse comes in many forms, ranging from verbal and mental to physical. Although all forms of abuse leave deeply embedded emotional scars, I feel the most tragic form of abuse is childhood sexual molestation. The ramifications are endless and lasting; they will follow you through your entire life. There are many that say they are survivors and I have no reason to not believe them. I too was abused as a child and yes, I did survive, but the emotional scars still remain and the demons still lurk, wreaking havoc in my life at every opportunity. I have written my life story for a number of reasons. First to provide some type of comfort and solace to other victims, to hopefully give victims what they need to step forward and find their light, and also to let other victims know they "are not alone."
